When I was a little girl, I always said I wanted to be a ballerina and a doctor.
So I became a ballroom dancing scientist and certified personal trainer.
My passion is lies in applying movement, science and helping people was already evident. She took jazz and ballet at a young age, began ballroom dancing at 12 years old, and became an instructor by age 16. Still wanting to pursue science, she went to JMU where she graduated with a BS in Biology. She spent over a decade managing a medical research lab at UVa, all the while cultivating her dance, movement and coaching skills. She continued to teach both locally and nationally, ultimately finding success competing across the country. Throughout her journey, fitness, nutrition and wellness have always been a key element, as well as the joy of teaching others. She decided to combine her love of helping people, coaching, body movement and science, and become a certified personal trainer.
